This is the first of three journal pages I’m doing tonight to record seeds I harvested from my walks today. I’m bringing these seeds with me to Florida. Who knows what the name of this plant is? A type of Morning Glory? I’m just starting to learn the names of flowers, the more I do these kinds of botanical drawings. And if you’re harvesting seeds too this time of year, here’s another interesting postΒ on the topic.
Loving this!! I saw Part 2 as well and just had to comment…awesome!! You’ll have an amazing cabinet of curiosities when you’re through! ππ

This looks like a fun project from start to finish. And they look like morning glories to me too. (K.)

Ah this is a beauty! I thought maybe part of the honeysuckle family? But I’m limited on plant knowledge.

Definitely looks like a faded morning glory to me. Hub grows them every year. Well done C!

Love your botanical record keeping! Your drawings look so real I thought you collected 2 of everything!
Morning glories are vines/climbing plants. If this is upright, it might be some sort of hibiscus?
