Botanical study with metallic watercolor

wp_20170122_19_36_34_prowp_20170122_18_37_06_proThere’s a cool succulent (its proper name is Kalanchoe marnieriana) in my garden that currently has these pretty pink and orange buds. It totally amazes me. In the first year that I watched this plant grow, I never saw the buds. Now it’s grown rather tall in the garden and has sprouted these pretty pods and buds. I look forward to seeing if flowers come next.

    1. I’m happy to say it is Payne’s Gray. It’s the best. I toyed with using a brown and blue in the bottom shadow and didn’t care for it. Thanks for asking!
