There’s only one yellow and pink rose growing on a tiny rose bush in our garden that I recently replanted. The bush is so small – maybe 8″ tall, if that. This one flower is now fully bloomed, but I photographed it in half bloom. I dare not cut it because it so pretty; instead, I will let it exude it’s beauty on the bush and then dead-head it and pray for more buds to come. This painting on 140 lb cold pressed paper and the floral “pattern” in my sketchbook were still wet when I photographed them up in my studio tonight. Tomorrow, I’ll check back on them when they’ll be thoroughly dry.
