I bought some new neon pencils at Barnes and Noble and tried them out tonight. I thought they’d show up better when I scanned my artwork, but no – they didn’t. So I was fooling around with the scanned images to try to see if I could bring them up. I call these Trio – and they are numbered. I really like 1 of 3. And I like looking at all three of them together …

TRIO for social

Reminds me of confetti, and facets on gems – the geometric shapes and candy colors.

    1. Thanks! I am so disappointed with these neon pencils though. This was initially a study to use the pencils and see how they produce color. I was hoping to use them in flowers that have little bits of neon in them. I am actually going back to Barnes and Noble to return the pencils. The store had lovely micron pens and other items I am sure I will get better use out of and are of nicer quality.

      1. Why? I like what I see in image 1. Do you want them to glow? Neon, to me, means they are of a different hue/tone…lighter, brighter, stronger. Image 1 has that look.
